{flooring part 1}

The week before Christmas (Dec 2011) Chris and Wes took out the linoleum in the laundry room, guest bathroom, and master bathroom. Colton and I were in Spokane visiting family, Chris was on break from teaching, and Wes didn't want to have time to miss us... so it was the perfect time to get the job done.

Thank you Wes and Chris for all your hard work!!

cooking & cleaning with Colton

My sweet friend, Gloria, and I have taken to the idea of taking one day to prepare a month's worth of food. We plan the recipes, shop, the prep the food together, then freeze the meals in portions for our families. It is sooo much fun to spend the day with Gloria and I love having so many meals in the freezer!
Colton is getting into the cooking!

how cute is he??

Colton isn't a fan of the vaccuum cleaner. This is the only way that Colton won't freak out when Wes vaccuums. (and yes...he does almost all the vaccuuming. he is an amazing husband!)

Daddy's little shaker

12 months.
Colton is so smart!!
He sees his Daddy making a protein shake in the mornings and he created his own version.
shaking Daddy's protein shake in the morning.
(there is a ball in side that acts like a whisk to blend)

Colton created his OWN shaker.

it consists of:
one of Mommy's old to-go coffee mugs
one yellow bathtub toy cup
one ball from the elephant game.
put it all together...
and....
SHAKE!
then drink.
see Mommy?? I can make a protein shake just like Daddy!

Colton loves to feed himself!!

dinner is yummy...I'd like more please!!
