dinosaur, park, and songs @29months

we picked up Colton's dinosaur after it was fired last weekend.
After his nap it was sitting on the tv credenza and he saw it immediately.
I reiterated how fragile it was and he had to be gentle with it. If he dropped it, it would break.
He picked it up and immediately kissed it. I just happened to catch it on camera. (He's going to be the BEST big brother!!)
Then he just held it, took it to his white table for snack time, and then checked out it's mouth and face. Dinosaur went with him to bed that night...of course. :) 

Tuesday night Wes took Colton to Sunset Park to feed the ducks. They met his buddy with his daughter that is 6 months younger than Colton. We've never  fed ducks bread this before and Colton LOVED it. He came home telling me all about it.
Wes captured Colton in the swing--for the whole 3 minutes he was in there...he doesn't like to swing but wanted in because his little buddy was swinging. 

Colton LOVES songs and music. We sing before (almost) all naps and bedtime. And just this past month we've started with CDs in the van for Colton.

Colton received this CD from Gloria and Victor's foster babies a month ago.
Between this CD and the Veggie Tales CD that is ALL we listen to in the car.
Colton has started to sing along..."No Mommy, I do it" when I sing too.
Just this week he started singing Row, Row, Row Your Boat---all by himself!!! So sweet.

The ladies in the nursery told me that he wouldn't sing Jesus Loves Me with them because "Mommy sing 'dat."

Colton calls Arky, Arky (Rise and Shine) "Opa song" because of the picture on the CD case. Any man with a beard is Opa according to Colton. So, Noah is now Opa. :)
