Sweet sleeper Landon @ 3 months

This sweet life.

I thought this would be cute for Halloween since Landon is going to be a cow...but "I don't like it." Colton tells me.

reading a book from Aunt Bickie
where Landon fell asleep as we tried on Cowboy/Farmer costume.

thought this pic was so cute.
A farmer and his dolphin.
shopping for jeans for Daddy!
fruit snacks, chocolate cheerios, and gum are what gets us through shopping trips. making 2 stops is the maximum Colton (and Mommy!) can handle.

Pumpkin patch Oct 19.

Perfect way to start our day of family and pumpkin patches in Greenbluff!
Kelsey and Peter are in town! And brought us the BEST pumpkin lattes ever. The secret is the pumpkin sauce...not syrup...can't stop craving these delicious drinks.

pumpkin donuts.
fresh. melt-in-your-mouth delicious.
at Harvest House in Greenbluff the wait was 30 minutes for a dozen of these bites of goodness. When we left, the line was at least 90 minutes. Yep, they are that good.

We met Uncle Rock and Aunt Mindy at Harvest House for donuts. (yes, they stayed in line for us and even saved a table. what a blessing cuz I know Colton couldn't have waited!)

Pumpkin Patch 2013.
This was our 2nd stop after Harvest House @ Walter's Fruit Ranch.

this is how Colton chooses the best pumpkin ever. :)

Look! the best pumpkin ever! :)

oh this little guy.
I adore this pic since it is so real.

first pony ride!
This is Little Bandit.
After not wanting to ride the carousel, we were surprised Colton was so interested and kept talking about wanting to ride the "horsies". We kept checking...and he kept saying yes...so we gave it a try and he LOVED it.

Dolly the camel at Harvest House

Aunt Kelsey and Landon!

"Silver car at Oma & Opa's house"
Uncle Peter and Colton went over all the parts of the car and discussed what everything did. It was so sweet!

Friday nights here.

he digs here constantly. and you can see his little hole with the dirt piled so neatly on the deck.
working on a "job site" he said.

Imagination Movers is one of his favorite TV shows on Disney channel. There is an episode where one of the characters gets a bucket stuck on his foot. The characters say, "We've got a problem. It's not a problem, it's an idea emergency!" So that's what Colton is walking around the house saying with the bucket on his own foot. He's so funny!!

banana oatmeal chip cups.
these were yummy! and perfect for breakfast or snacks on the go.
green muffins!
banana covers up the taste of spinach in these yummy muffins...they didn't last long at all! definitely making a double batch next time.

family date @ Riverfront Park

Riverfront Park.
on a beautiful Thursday afternoon we all went to downtown Spokane for a family date!

this was supposed to be a family shot...but it's just me and the baby.
I was so excited to take Colton to the carasousel. I had grown up riding it and loving it.
He wasn't so sure. So, no horse for him to ride on. We sat on the bench. :)
pretty, right?
fall here is so nice~ jeans and a coat and blue skies by the afternoon. LOVE.
going to give the big slide a try!
Colton's turn!

Daddy's turn!
"You go down slide, Daddy?"
the park is so pretty.
so blessed...we had gift cards to use at Olive Garden. So we ate a yummy dinner and even splurged on my favorite....pumpkin cheesecake. :)

Pumpkin patch Oct. 15

Today we joined Katie, Hudson, & Hannah at Hidden Acres Farm in Greenbluff.
It was perfect for Colton! There was do much to do and it was an organized tour so the pace was perfect for our toddler.

We took a hayride pulled by a tractor around the farm. It was narrated which was very cool!
At the Bee Talk we learned about how the bees pollinate the apple trees.
In the apple orchard Colton picked an apple off a tree, polished it on his shirt, and took a big bite. The apple might have been his favorite part. He kept asking Katie "you have my apple??" about a thousand times. :) when he had a chance to eat it he munched it up, even after it went rolling in the dirt. :) When he accidentally dropped it in the pig pen he wanted it back. :-/
There was a maze made out of hay barrels that was perfect for little ones.
Colton was more into kicking dirt and digging than choosing a pumpkin. He finally made time for picking the very best one. But then it was back to more dirt & pumpkin vine kicking.
To finish our tour the kiddos sat by a huge pumpkin named Penelope who invited them to enjoy donuts and apple cider.
We had a blast!!
