Christmas Eve in Henderson

Grandma Anna reading to her grandson.

Grandma Anna and Colton giggling at lunch time.

Waving to the camera!!!
He will wave to you  (sometimes) with his version of a wave...with a straight arm, open hand.

Checking out the presents and the tree with Grandma Anna.

Helping Aunt Bickie make her famous clam dip.

He was such a good boy with the presents. Didn't unwrap, only took off a few bow and tags. :) He also left the tree alone--he'd reach out to touch the tip of a branch very gently.
Colton really likes the remote to the tv. He has is "own" remote control...but of course ours is better.
and Isn't the quilt from Grandma Jules wonderful??

After the Christmas Eve serve he found the storage under the arm of the recliner. New game = putting the remote in the storage part of the chair.

lots of laughs this Christmas...

Colton had a lot of visitors for his 1st Christmas in Henderson, NV!
Grandma Anna flew down from Boise, Idaho.
great Aunt Bickie and Uncle Gary flew down from Port Townsend, Washington.

This was Friday. (2 days until Christmas)
Grandma Anna and Colton playing in the morning. They crawled all over the house playing "chase" and then stacked cups and then snuggled. And did I mention how much these two laughed together?? A lot!! So cute!

Colton crawling around in his "fort" (under the kitchen table).

Cutie-pie Colton in his pjs. Nothing cuter than a baby in his pajamas!!

Colton and his Aunt Bickie...hysterical watching these two play together! Colton's favorite game to play with her is "gravity" and then to try and climb over the couch to grab his teething ring or his remote control. Good thing Aunt Bickie is quick and has a tight hold of this boy's britches!

more Spokane fun in December!

Monday night we went out to dinner...everything is so much fun with the fam!
Love them.
Julie and me...wearing matching scarves!
We each bought identical scarves when she was down in October...thinking we lived in different states so we'd never be "twins". :) I just happened to bring mine home with me, since it is my most favorite scarf ever!, and we both wore them so we had to take a picture. :)

Dusty, Julie, and me.

Sydney, Julie, and Tanner

Julie, Dad, and Sydney.

a sleeping Colton Dean.
Poor little guy...naps were hard on vacay! But, we got them in when we could.

Spokane in December

Colton found a mini fort under the chair...which also gave him a great view of Sadie through the sliding glass door.
on Monday in Spokane....
We visited Oma as she watched two sweet little kiddos. We all had fun playing with Colton!

SCRUNCHY FACE!!!!

We then Great Grandma Lenore Steffan and Great Grandpa Irv Marcus at Evergreen Fountains.
Colton thoroughly enjoyed Great Grandma's walker---it had wheels and gears which is soooo fun!

We tried to go to sushi as a family...but they were closed. (insert sad face here.) So...we went to dinner and then to the CD'A hotel to look at lights.

Uncle Tanner and his nephew (aka the little man who will attract the ladies since he is soooo adorable!)

The crew...
Dad, Julie, Colt, Tanner, Dusty, Jenny, Sydney, and Kinley

Hanging out at the lake on Tuesday was a perfect last day in Washington/Idaho.
Julie and I did a little shopping while Sydney babysat her sleeping nephew, we finally made it to sushi, and it started to snow.
Grandma Jules and Colton playing...and laughing a ton!

SCRUNCHY FACE!!!

Uncle Dusty and his nephew

Colton watching Sadie, while Sadie watched Colton.

Sadie's barking made this little guy unhappy. :(

Reading books with Grandma Jules.

Hanging out with Grandpa Mark...the teething ring of course makes the picture.

let it snow!

let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!
The night before we left Washington/Northern Idaho it started to snow...finally! It was beautiful...and so much fun to watch the snow fall so peacefully.
baby Colton's 1st snow!!

It started snowing while we devoured sushi at Ugly Fish.
Colton wasn't quite sure what to think...but he definitely liked it!

snow that gathered on the carseat cover.

what we woke up to.
absolutely stunning.

Auntie Syd showing her nephew the snow...and the ducks down by the dock.

Colton meets Opa Santa!

Colton just looked and looked at his Opa. Maybe the long beard and hair threw him for a loop...little did he know who his grandpa really is. :)

Opa and his grandson.

Oma and her grandson.

Oma and Opa's dogs...Dakota and Freckles...were very interested in Colton and he thought the dogs were silly!

"Oh, hi Freckles!"

"Those silly dogs!!"

Colton riding on Smokey the rocking horse.
Smokey was made by Wes' grandpa.

Colton was checking out Smokey.

Colton with Oma and Opa Claus!

as Colton is with most new things...he was very unsure of Opa Claus.
Colton took a little crawl break to squeeze between the chairs to see what the dogs were doing outdoors.

Colton and his 1st visit with Santa Claus.
Not every little boy can say that Santa Claus is his grandpa!!

Colton really liked Opa Claus' jingle bells!

favorite picture of Colton and Opa Claus!!

Colton wore this outfit especially for visiting with his Opa today. Colton is Santa's little helper for sure!

Mommy and Colton.

Loving his new book from Oma and Opa..."Jesus Loves Me."
Yes, He does little one. Yes He does.

One tired little guy.
This snuggle time made Oma's day.

Oma and her little boy.
