Honor Marriage Conference

Friday night was the start to the marriage conference at our church, Hope.   

Saturday morning was full of time to reflect as a couple, check in, and pray. 

5:00 p.m. Saturday.
Hope offered free childcare during the entire marriage conference. Without it we wouldn't have been able to attend since we don't have family in Vegas that could take Colton.
Friday night we were at church from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00am to 12:30pm.
It threw Colton off his normal schedule. So much so that he refused a nap when we got home Saturday. The pictures here show a completely exhausted boy that finally fell asleep in my arms. Unfortunately he got a mini nap since I still wanted him to go to bed at his regular bedtime of 8:00.

They also attended the marriage conference and this is them enjoying their date night out.
We couldn't go out Saturday night since Wes was working until 9pm. The church was also providing free childcare while couples went on a date Saturday night. How awesome is that? I love that they encouraged that after the conference.
We had talked about a date night on Sunday night...but I forgot to book the babysitter! :(
Dianna overheard my convo with Wes and offered to take Colton so we could go out. What a blessing our friends are!! 

Dianna made this collage of the kiddos for us. Colton had a blast with his buddy Jaylyn. Oh, and they have a dog. Colton was in heaven!!

The best part...getting to give one another our undivided attention. It was perfect.
