hello summer! @28weeks

Why would the Stumbaughs welcome summer any other way but with a SUPER busy week? Although it was super busy...it was a lovely week with my 2 guys. Nothing better than NOT working M-F 7am to 3. :) 

Friday.
lunch date out with Mommy after running errands. We (or maybe just the preggo Mommy) were exhausted and in need of food quickly! We went to a few stores, including PetSmart. Colton liked the "fish" and "doggies" the most. After tacos for lunch we headed home for naps. Yes, Mommy too. 

Friday night.
Swim and bbq with Chris, Steph, and the Romzek family.
This is Lyla...she is a week younger than Colton.
Our boy is a charmer with the ladies! 

 Saturday....I think we hung out at home since it was so hot...I can't remember. :)

Sunday.

Monday.
Swim class starts! Monday thru Friday at 11 am-11:30.
He talked about the "pool" all week long. He really liked "'onkey arms, baby balls, and splash pool".
11 am class was a bit of a challenge since we didn't get home until 12. Then we had lunch and started our nap time routine. Most days he sleeps 2.5 to 3 hours. This week that was cut short and that made for interesting evenings. :) 

Monday.
Costco trip with Mommy. He was such a good boy in the store! We treated ourselves to a slice of cheese pizza. For dessert, ice cream with strawberries. This boy can eat! He literally ate half of everything. And wanted more. Oi vay!

He put his hat on like this and wanted me to see. What a silly guy. 

Tuesday.
Well, actually Monday and Tuesday, I went into to work for about 3 hours (got paid of course!) to wrap up the school year and debrief Andrea on what will need to be done in the fall when I am on maternity leave.
On Tuesday, Wes had an appointment with one of the community partners for Week of Hope at 9:30. So, my big helper came to work for a few hours. He did great cuz he loves school! He colored, he found fruit snacks, he played with cars, he drew on the whiteboard, he rode a bicycle all over the front office, he had yogurt, he wanted candy (I said no more after 2 pieces), and he played with the stuffed animals in Jen's office. He was busy, but a really good boy.  Despite of all his busyness, I still got a lot done. :)
We raced from school over to swim class...where Daddy met us when his meeting was over. 

Tuesday.
after naps (for Colton and Mommy)...Wes and I were chatting and this is what Colton got into. We have all his color crayons and coloring books accessible to him. It was cute to see him get his stuff out on his own. 

Wednesday.
Wes is such a good Daddy. He came to swim class with us on the days his work schedule allowed. I love when  he does things like that. Colton does too. :)

Wednesday.
Dianna and Jaylyn came over for a play date and for dinner. These 2 kids together are a kick! 

Friday.
At the end of swim class, Colton got to pick a prize from a box of small swim toys. He had a very hard time choosing. He really wanted "two baby 'ucky". 

Friday.
This is Colton's bday present from Aunt Mindy! SO cool. A construction play mat  (made out of fabric) and 6 new matchbox cars (including helicopters, white car, and many more fast cars). Colton LOVES it. She also sent a little carrying box for everything...our boy likes to organize so he's in heaven!!
