In past posts, I have shared HOW Colton rolls. Now we are into the thick of WHERE Colton rolls. And the answer is....everywhere!!! He always starts off on the blanket, from there he is off and on the move exploring. He is very much aware of Wes and my presence. If we go quickly into the kitchen, laundry room, bedroom, or bathroom....and he is still in the living room...he realizes he has been left alone.... and he starts to cry. Mind you, we aren't gone long at all (and in the case of the kitchen, we are still in the same room)...and our home is an open floor plan with about 1,3000 sq ft....but he doesn't want to be left alone. He is so Mr. Independent, playing alone and quite content... until he realizes we aren't right there any longer.

Hi Bugs!!!
He laid here, patting the wall and talking for the longest time. |

Colton's very own remote control. And his new favorite toy.
He wants everything that we use: cell phones, remote controls, computer....so we gave him an old remote control for his very own. |

| Ah-dorable. |
 |
| Rolling off his blanket, he loves to kick the bottom part of the couches and tell us "stories". |

| A little Colton burrito. |

| Cute, cute, cutie pie. |
On Labor Day, Wes worked 12 hours. So, I got lots of time with Bugs. It was pure joy to spend the day with our baby. We went to Target and found him some soft blocks to play with. (The night before we were at Liz's house and he was totally into her kid's blocks so I knew that he'd enjoy them.) We made food for the week for Colton (see the Yes Peas post) and food for the parents to eat. And to top it all off, I had a cold. It was a loooooong week of not feeling well. Totally amping up the vit c after my second cold in six weeks. So over sickness! Thank goodness for the liquid gold...Bugs hasn't gotten any of my colds (giving all credit to God's master plan of momma's milk = great antibodies for baby!).

New blocks!
Mommy stacks them.... |

| Colton army crawls (quickly!!) over... |

| and down they come! |
 |
| "I love blocks, Mom. Thank you!" |
 |
| Play, play, all day! |

| Bugs rolled all the way over to the server from his blanket. Then whined when he realized how far he'd gone away from me. |
