A day out with Thomas @26months

On Sunday, April 7th we went to A Day Out With Thomas in Boulder City. 

It was a great event! We went about 9:30 and it wasn't too warm yet. Even better for this Momma! :) 

We rode the train, pulled by Thomas--of course! Colton got his first tattoo...temporary of course! He really liked it and was upset when they came off after swimming and in the bath. There were art activities--Colton wasn't interested. There was face painting--none of that for Colton. There were train tables with tracks and trains to play with--Colton watched for just a minute but didn't join in. We watched the clown for just a bit, but not too long! He was quite happy just watching the all the other kids and holding on tight to his Daddy's hand. However, we had to keep moving all over the train station. This boy doesn't want to sit still for a minute! :)

We spent the morning with our dear friends, Chris and Andrea (I work with Andrea)  and their kiddos Liam and Avery. Liam is obsessed with Thomas so it was a fun day for all!!

Colton was more interested in walking "up, down, up, down" on the railroad tracks than the merchandise tent. Mommy, Daddy, and our bank account was thankful for that!! :)

There were so many things to do! 

during our ride on the "choo choo train", Colton loved looking at all the cars, trucks, semi-trucks, boats, that drove by on the highway. He named them all. That's what he's doing in the photo...naming the "twuck".
