Cali family reunion @ 19 months.

Friday morning we packed up and started the long drive from Henderson, Nevada to Santa Maria, California for Wes' dad's family reunion.

After a bit of distraction I was able to get us neatly packed.

Saturday morning... We all meet up at Donna and Thad's for breakfast and to get ready for the beach. Colton loved the "arf arf" and the large grassy area to run in.

She was so patient with him and let him hug away.

This is the first time at the beach for Colton!!
We drove up to Pismo Beach and it was lovely, lovely day.

"Oh WOW!" were Colton's words when he saw the ocean for the first time.

He LOVES the waves.
We finally had to take him up to get a towel because he was shaking from the cold water...but if we didn't make him get warm he would have splashed in those waves all day long!

We stayed at the beach until about 2:00. Waaaaay past Colton's 12:00 nap time!!
We went back to the hotel room and hosed off our little beach boy. He promptly fell asleep about 3:00.

Saturday ended with a dinner at Kirstin's house.
Her house is beautiful and full of fun things for kids to do!
Chicken coop (according to Colton chickens are cool until they walk toward you!), trampoline (Colton loved this!!), pumpkin patch, swing set, and the largest grassy yard you've ever seen.

He's sooo happy!!!
They "drove" (Allison pushed them) around the big driveway loop.
Probably 20 laps.
They'd get close....squeal in excitment...wave as they passed...the blew kisses til we were out of sight.
The whole process started again on the next loop.
It was priceless. :)
