Dolphin Day @25months

We went on a family outing on Tuesday of my spring break. I've wanted to go back to see the dolphins for years. The last time I had gone was with Aunt Bickie in February of 2001 when I flew to Las Vegas with them and had my job interview with CCSD.

Thank goodness for a local's discount!!
We arrived when they opened at 10:00am, good thing too since there was a long line by 11:30. We definitely beat the crowds.

so fun. so funny. so easy going.
What a beautiful balance for me. :)

The dolphin habitat is so incredibly cool.
There is no "show" schedule. You  just watch the trainers when they work with the dolphins throughout the day at the 3 different pools.

Is what Colton said when he saw the lions. 

The lions, tigers, panthers were so beautiful and you are really quite close to them.
Unfortunately they are nocturnal.
Fortunately, a few were awake or at least woke up and looked around while we were there. 

all of the animals, aside from dolphins, were apart of the Siegfried and Roy show until the accident with the tiger  about 8 years ago.
There was a habitat in the Mirage casino that you were able to view the white tigers from until they removed it 3 years ago.
Now, this is the only way to see them.

Dolphins are my favorite.
Spending this day with my husband and son, that was my favorite.
It was such a good day!
