tractor & boo boo band aid @25months

digging dirt by the fork lift. 

We had a lovely walk over to the constrution area in our neighborhood.
Until....
Colton scrapped his knee, I had nothing to wipe the blood with, he didn't want to leave, then he saw the blood, then the MAJOR meltdown began. :( 

this happy face shows that all is well.
One wouldn't have thought that from the way he carried on and cried the whole way home, then while I tried to clean the small cut, and apply a band aid. 

Momma tried to show him band aids were okay by putting one on her paper cut.
He only allowed a band aid on his hand and BELOW the cut. He held the tissue in place on his knee.

This whole thing wore Momma out. Colton, too since we just sat on the couch, watched the Truck dvd from Aunt Pat, and held the tissue on the knee.

When Dadda got home he was able to get Colton to put a "Mo Mo band aid on boo boo" (Elmo band aid).
Now Colton asks for the Elmo band aid all the time and will even go get the antiseptic cream and get started putting it on the band aid if you aren't there fast enough. :)
