Touch-a-Truck @2 years old

Saturday morning Colton and Momma went to breakfast at our favorite bagel shop. Then we saw lots of "fast car" so we went to investigate. Colton calls them fast cars because he has a matchbox car that is red and goes fast across the table.
"fast car!"
is what Colton called the cars displayed in the parking lot near the bagel shop that we love.
Then it was off to Touch-a-Truck at The Orleans parking lot.
It was little boy heaven.
Excavators, front end loaders, cement mixers, fire engines, police cars, tow trucks and so much more.
The kids would stand in line and get to sit in the drivers seat.
Colton was so patient as he waited his turn. I was so proud of him!
The minute he was in the drivers seat he would push all the buttons, turn the wheel, and honk the horn.
He had a blast!!
Some of the lines were outrageously long so we just looked at the fire trucks, police cars, and helicopter up close but not in the seat.
HUGE grins were in effect all day long.

pushing all the buttons.

pure joy.

After paying $8 each we got a stamp on our each of our hands of a dump truck.
Colton though the "sticker" was the neatest thing.
So neat that he wouldn't let me hold his hand that had the stamp on it. If I took that hand, he'd switch. Precious!!

so excited to drive the front end loader!!

honking the horn

playing in the bucket (blade)

Too long of a line for this one. But we got to watch them move and extend the ladder and that was so neat!

This helicopter landed during the time we were there.
Colton still talks about the helicopter and his eyes and the dirt that was kicked up by the blades.

Highlight of the day for Colton:
EXCAVATOR!!

this was the longest line we chose to stand in all day.
And it was completely worth it to see this smile light up his face.

joyous laughter!

dancing in the bucket.

so much fun.
so tired!!
he was such a good boy. I forgot the stroller and Colton held my hand and walked everywhere. It was a ton of walking and he was such a good boy about it.
